About our speaker - Edith Rae
Edith grew up in Switzerland in a family of eight, where she trained and worked as a teacher. In her teenage years she protested against excessive materialism and injustice as a dandelion-eating Hippie. As a young adult Edith gave her life to Christ and was called to serve Him in North Africa, where she met her husband David and where they raised their four boys until their expulsion in 2010.
Edith loves to be involved in social justice work, women’s ministry, missions and teaching and preaching, and caring for seniors in her work with Calling Ministries.
Edith loves all things natural, and pursued further education in holistic nutrition and herbal medicine. Happy places are nature, great books, long conversations over coffee, and most recently, pickleball.
David and Edith are empty nesters and happy grandparents now, and excited about this new chapter on their journey with Jesus.
