Pastoral Care Coordinator | Feb 2008

A vibrant church with a desire to impact our city and the world with God's transforming love, Granville Chapel is searching for a Pastoral Care Coordinator. This is a part-time (20-hour week) position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new avenues of pastoral care
• Act as key contact for pastoral care crises and ensure appropriate support is provided
• Build and coordinate pastoral care
• Provide pastoral care for Asian community
• Visit members of the congregation and community as necessary

Education and Experience

• Formal education and experience in Pastoral Care or related area
• Cross-cultural experience; Mandarin language skills a definite asset

Skills and Attributes

• Passion for pastoral care and spiritually mature
• Experienced at mobilizing and equipping volunteers
• Highly effective interpersonal and leadership skills
• Skilled at time management and setting priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Team player, integrity, strong work ethic
• Energy and enthusiasm
