What is a Pastorate?

Pastorates are groups of 25 to 35 people that normally gather in a home. The groups meet bi-weekly and are open so that anyone new to the church or not in a pastorate already is free to join. Pastorates eat, worship, learn and pray together.

They exist for 4 main reasons:

Making friends and growing community
Identifying and developing gifts
Mission
Planting/growing (pastorates are encouraged to plant and grow new pastorates)

Children’s Ministry Coordinator

We are delighted to have Susan Robertson commit to the GC Children’s Ministry on a permanent (part-time) basis. She’s been doing a great job in her temporary role, and will now be able to make long-term plans for the children of our congregation.
